NCM Entertainment Roundup – Feb. 4

Movie-NewsHere are some of our favorite things to come out of Hollywood this week:

  • The new Magic Mike XXL teaser and poster has it all: Dance moves. Abs. Tatum. Ginuwine. (Entertainment Weekly)
  • Sunday’s Super Bowl offered up a slew of new movie trailers including a closer look at George Clooney’s Tomorrowland, Furious 7 and a Ted 2 spot with a special Tom Brady cameo. (Rolling Stone)
  • Frozen returns to theaters with a new seven-minute short featuring Princesses Anna and Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf. The Frozen Fever will hit the big screen before Disney’s live-action Cinderella, in theaters. March 13. (USA Today)
  • Warner Brothers has released four new clips from Jupiter Ascending, starring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis. The space opera film opens this weekend in theaters (ComicBook.com)
  • Star Wars: Episode VII is on track to be one of the biggest films of 2015. But now Disney has confirmed the next two films to put on your calendar. Star Wars: Episode VIII will hit theaters in 2017 and that Star Wars: Episode IX will arrive in 2019. (The Wrap)
  • SpongeBob SquarePants spoofs Terminator Genisys, Jurassic World and Fifty Shades of Grey posters. (ComingSoon.com)
  • There are penguin cams and panda cams to keep an eye on your favorite animals, but now you can check out the “live park cams” from the T.Rex Paddock or the Gentle Giants enclosure from the fictional theme park, Jurassic World. (The Hollywood Reporter)
