Mad Max: Fury Road

The countdown is on for Avengers:  Age of Ultron, which finally premieres nationwide this weekend.  After a great start overseas, experts are already predicting that it will smash U.S. box office records with an expected $210 – 230 million dollars.  (Deadline)

With so much anticipation for the film, it comes as no surprise that parodies are popping up.  In the latest from Sesame Street, Earth’s mightiest heroes are saving the world’s vegetables from tasty sweets in: The Aveggies: Age of Bon Bon. (Time)

ICYMI: The dates for two major film franchises were announced this past week. The next installment of the Fast and the Furious series, Furious 8 will debut in theaters on April 14, 2017. Universal has also given the greenlight for the next new two films in the Fifty Shades franchise. Fifty Shades Darker will open on February 10, 2017 with Fifty Shades Freed on February 9, 2018. Buckle up! The final trailer Mad Max: Fury Road was just released and it only begins to scratch the surface of the wild ride moviegoers are in for when the movie opens on May 15. (Cinema Blend)
