Pitch Perfect 2 hit all the right notes on the way to the top of the box office earning $69.2 M, while Mad Max: Fury Road‘s opening weekend drove in $45.4 M.  (Deadline)

The Amy Winehouse documentary, Amy, will showcase the life and career of the talented singer before her tragic death at the age of 27 in July of 2011.  (Collider)

Confirmed: You’ll be seeing more of Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, in other Marvel films, says Chris Pratt.  No word on Baby Groot, though. (Cinema Blend)

During an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael, Rebel Wilson showed off her rapping skills with a few bars of an inspired rendition of Kris Kross’ Jump.  (The Hollywood Reporter)

During Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards, Taylor Swift’s highly-anticipated new video for her single Bad Blood premiered featuring influences from the Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez Sin City films. This video might have more cameos than the latest Entourage trailer!  (IGN)

The Festival de Cannes is underway in France, and several films have already garnered major attention from critics including the animated Inside Out, Woody Allen’s Irrational Man, and Carol starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. (The Hollywood Reporter)
