Catching you up on some of our favorite things to come out of Hollywood this week:

James Bond gets a little help fighting off the bad guys from a new sidekick during a high speed boat chase in a fun new Heineken ad.  (AdWeek)

Although not confirmed in any official capacity, rumors are circling that Hayden Christensen might be in as Darth Vader in Star Wars: Episode VIII, due out May 2017. You’ll remember of course, that Christensen played Anakin Skywalker, the Jedi who later becomes Darth Vader, in prequel films. (New York Daily News)

The Big Short just snuck into the end of 2015 and added itself to the list of Oscar contenders for this year. With a heavyweight cast including Steve Carell, Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, and Ryan Gosling, the film chronicles financial crisis in the 2000’s that resulted from the housing and credit bubble. Paramount Pictures just released the first trailer for the movie due out nationwide on December 23 after a limited opening on December 11. (/Film)

Jared Leto and Chris Evans are both in talks to join Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson and Haley Bennett in the adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ best-selling book, The Girl on the Train. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Astronauts aboard the International Space Station hosted a very special movie night with a special advance screening of Ridley Scott’s The Martian. (CNET)
