Catching you up on some of our favorite things to come out of Hollywood this week:

Perhaps it was a sign that Hollywood danced and sang its way into the Golden Globes La La Land style for the opening number! The film was the biggest winner and record-breaker of the night, winning 7 Globes. (YouTube)  You can check out the complete list of winners on GoldenGlobes.com.

Speaking of La La Land, it is also sweeping awards nominations from other industry associations including the British Academy (BAFTA) and the Producers Guild of America (PGA). Along with the Damien Chazelle musical, Moonlight, Manchester by the Sea, Lion and Nocturnal Animals also received nominations. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Two soon-to-be blockbuster movies, Beauty and the Beast and Cars 3, debuted extended TV spots this week. (Today and Yahoo! Movies)

At CES 2017, Fox, RSA Films and Technicolor’s MPC VP announced a joint partnership to develop a virtual reality experience in collaboration with the upcoming Ridley Scott sequel Alien: Covenant. (Deadline)

The first international trailer for Baywatch, led by Mitch Buchannon (Dwayne Johnson), hints that there’s more to this job than just swimming. (Entertainment Weekly)

Marvel revealed new behind-the-scene photos and the official synopsis for Thor: Ragnarok, which includes an appearance by Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). (MovieWeb)

Moana will be returning to the big screen nationwide on Saturday, January 27th in a new sing-along version of the animated film so fans can belt out all their favorite Moana songs together. (/Film)
