Before you see Fifty Shades Darker this weekend, step into the world of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in a 360-degree virtual reality experience, Fifty Shades Darker: The Masquerade Ball. (Entertainment Weekly)

Universal and Brand Events are teaming up to bring the Fast and Furious motion picture franchise to life in a live-entertainment arena tour featuring spectacular stunts and cars from the movies. The tour is slated to start in January 2018. (Variety)

John Lithgow will officially join Pitch Perfect 3 in an unspecified role. (The Hollywood Reporter)

The sequel to 2013’s World War Z has been pushed back indefinitely with no new release date. (MovieWeb)

M. Night Shyamalan confirmed that there will a sequel to his box office hit Split. (CNN)

Leaked pictures on Twitter gave fans a very early look of Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft on the set of the Tomb Raider reboot. (The Wrap)

Sony Pictures has rearranged the 2018 release dates for several films including Hotel Transylvania 3, Goosebumps 2 and Bad Boys for Life. (Comingsoon.net)

A new trailer for the Amy Schumer-Goldie Hawn dark comedy Snatched shows the mother-daughter duo in further danger as they attempt to escape their kidnappers in South America. (Rolling Stone)

Super Bowl LI was one for the record books!  Not only did the New England Patriots win their 5th championship, but 9 new and extended movie trailers debuted throughout the game.

Opening this weekend:  Fifty Shades Darker, The LEGO Batman Movie, John Wick: Chapter 2 and A United Kingdom.
