Matt Damon in The Great Wall, opening this weekend.

 

LEGO Batman just proved who the real dominant is at the box office, debuting this past weekend at #1 with $55.6 million. Fifty Shades Darker submitted to a 2nd place finish with a respectable $46.8 million.  (ABC News)

Speaking of LEGO Batman, the miniature star himself visited his LEGO counterpart Stephen Colbert on the Late Show to discuss on-set pranks and Will Arnett’s handsome looks. (Entertainment Weekly)

Marvel release a special 3-minute teaser preview of Avengers: Infinity War currently in production, featuring Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy against monster Thanos in a war of blockbuster proportions. (Rolling Stone)

Fans caught an exclusive first look at the next generation of jaegers robots and John Boyega’s Jake Pentecost getting ready for Pacific Rim: Uprising. (/Film)

Whatever your opinion was on Batman vs. Superman, we can all agree the visual effects were pretty spectacular. Director Zack Synder shared a 12-minute video look at the before-and-after of the visual effects that went into making the film what it is. (The Hollywood Reporter)

With only two weeks until the 89th Annual Academy Awards, La La Land continued its historic march to glory, winning big at the 70th British Academy Film Awards with 5 BAFTAs in total including Best Film.  Check out the complete list of winners. (CNN)
