Star Wars: The Last Jedi passed Wonder Woman as the second-highest grossing film of 2017 with $423.7 million at the box office. There’s also a very good chance that The Last Jedi becomes the highest-grossing film of the year by December 31, beating Disney’s own Beauty and the Beast ($504 million). (Deadline)

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, All the Money in the World writer David Scarpa took time to discuss his next project, Celopatra. “Instead of doing [Cleopatra] as the prestige picture,” said Scarpa, “[we] really treat it as a political thriller…Just going the opposite direction from the way we think that movie is going to go.” (Hollywood Reporter)

Hellboy lead actor David Harbour confirmed that the movie has already wrapped production over a year ahead of its January 2019 release. By the time Hellboy hits theaters, it will have been over a decade since the last film, Hellboy II: The Golden Army. (ScreenRant)

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s remake of A Star Is Born has been pushed from a May 2018 release to October 2018. The film is Cooper’s directorial debut. (Moviefone)

The Walking Dead actor Cooper Andrews (a.k.a. Jerry) has joined the cast of Shazam! as a foster parent to the film’s main character, Billy Baston, played by Asher Angel. The DC superhero film debuts April 5, 2019. (/Film)
